Established in 2011, Siaya County Youth Network is a youth-led organization that utilizes existing local resources, opportunities and youth-co-created strategies to contribute to employment creation and youth participation in Siaya County. The organization is registered as a company limited by guarantee and recognized as a County youth body in Siaya with an active membership of over 600 members spread in the 6 subcounties in siaya
One of the primary objectives of the organization is to foster employment opportunities for youth in Siaya County. This pillar focuses on leveraging local resources and opportunities to create sustainable jobs that cater to the needs and skills of young people.
Promoting active participation of youth in community and county-level activities. This involves empowering young people to take on leadership roles, engage in decision-making processes, and contribute meaningfully to local development initiatives.
